Shopping Tip for Vintage Perfume-a-phobics...

(image: farm3.static.flickr)

Do you suffer from vintage perfume phobia? If you love the idea of wearing vintage scent but shy away from the idea of purchasing or wearing fragrances from second hand, perhaps you've been searching for a reliable online source of new old timey scents. If so then you've got to get over to www.vermontcountrystore.com pronto to peruse their brand-spanking-new-but-vintage-brand fragrance offerings. Just check out the offerings in their Apothecary department. I'm thinking about trying their Lemon Verbena spray and a couple of the Sweet Earth solid compacts- the Flowers and Grasses combinations sound especially appealing for layering this summer.

Argh! I'm dumb. I thought you were saying the Coty fragrances were being re-released. Now I'm all sad. :(

Hi JeanHarris, cletsey and La Bonne Vivant- so glad you all remembered and love those old Coty compacts. True the current Sweet Earth compacts aren't made by Coty but they are the same scents as when made by Coty (maybe not exactly the same formulas)- but they even look like the same compact that Coty used. In any case, they are certainly worth a try!
